About Me
My History
My name is Anastasia, I am a life long learner and grew up around the world. Living between America, South East Asia, and the Middle East allowed me to immerse myself in different cultures and become more understanding of those around me. I have a strong love of travel, adventure, and meeting new people which has led me towards many new opportunities to learn and grow. I am a member of, and strong advocate for, the LGBTQ+ community, but also an advocate for our right to be human. I believe every single one of us has the right to be our authentic selves and to feel safe and accepted as we show up and listen to our inner knowing.

My Experience
I completed my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver in 2018. I received my EMDR certification through EMDRIA in 2024. Prior to starting my own private practice in 2020, I worked in community mental health and provided emergency services, intake, and assessment.

Why Trauma Work?
I believe we are all human, and as humans, we are doing the best we can to adapt and survive our circumstances, even if we don’t have the tools to handle trauma, stressful situations, or chronic stress. Using a trauma-informed lens in my work gives insight into the patterns of survival, fosters safety within your present moment, and helps move the nervous system from reactive to regulated.
You are not alone. I’m with you.

My Life
When I am not working, I am learning all about life, travelling, rock climbing, and dancing. And while I love adventuring and meeting new people, down time is also important. That alone time looks like a good movie, crafting, and cuddling with my dog, Juliet.
