At Happy Mind, anyone is welcome who wants to work on themselves and process how they exist in the world. With this in mind, my vision is to help discover and strengthen curiosity about the mind-body connection and bring down the intensity of uncomfortable experiences.
What We Offer?
Individual Therapy
Want someone to talk to? Want a space to focus on and process what is happening in your life? Maybe you would like to learn more about yourself? Check out our therapy page and see if we are a good fit.
Couple’s Therapy
Do you and your partner want a safe space to discuss challenges in your relationship? In our couple’s work, we will build curiosity around each other’s perspectives and find ways to cultivate understanding. When applicable, EMDR for couples is also available.
EMDR
Have you had difficult experiences in your past? Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) can help bring down the intensity of memories around trauma, grief, anxiety, or life transitions. During this process, we will utilize the mind body connection, parts work, and acceptance of where you are at to help you navigate your distress.
Our Mission.
At Happy Mind, I understand that each person is different, and will react to therapy differently. The more you can understand how your mind and body react to challenges, changes, and emotions, the more you will learn how to navigate those experiences.
Although we all strive to be happy, happiness is an emotion, and emotions are constantly changing. This means we cannot be 100% happy all the time. Uncomfortable emotions such as grief, sadness, anger, and pain are a part of being human, and will come up from time to time (sometimes more than we want). At Happy Mind Wellness Company, my goal is to help you work through and process all aspects of being human and learn to sit with those uncomfortable experiences. Over time, it may becomes easier and easier, and you can find a balance with your own version of “happy”.
